Purchased a 1177 DA faucet for my 1949 American Standard Radiator Co. Shelf Back Sink. I needed 5 3/4" between holes. The fixture fit nice except the spout stuck out 3/16" to far. The threads are not deep enough in spout. So you have to silicone the gap. The hot and cold valves were back wards . You have to switch the inners from one valve to the other. Now the handles for on and off are right . Up for on down for off. Other wise very satisfied for such an old sink.
