The retrofit is definitely the way to go!
Our local plumbing supplier always wants to sell us a complete unit at a significant cost and then I would pull out the inner components for a quick fix. Removing and replacing the whole body is certainly more challenging and may be required in some cases but very rare. This retrofit kit was highly effective and the repair was completed in minutes! Very happy with the correspondence and shipping time considering I am a Canadian customer. Less than a week was amazing!
