KWC Z.536.060.700 KWC ONO soap dispenser, steel

When we remodeled our kitchen 12 years ago, there was a great debate about whether a soap dispenser was worth the $300 price tag. Since it was the match to the KWC ONO faucet we had decided on, we broke down and went for it. Fast forward to now when the plastic pump mechanism has broken. I see this part available for a multitude of other manufacturers' soap dispensers, but this particular one has no replacement parts available other than the bottle. And now of course the price of this model has gone WAY up. KWC is usually very good about replacement parts, but this (already overpriced) fixture fails in that department completely. Because we are sticklers for details and love this dispenser which has served us well for 12 years, we've decided to bite the bullet and buy another one. But due to the price point and lack of replacement parts, I would not recommend it to anyone else.
