My house is 35+ years old with outside frost proof faucets (stems) that were leaking. No local plumbers/suppliers could help or even know what items I needed for such "old" devices! My 24 year old faucet may be an oddball because this recommended replacement stem did not fit. Specifically, it is about 1/4" too long. A big shout out to Jeff Layton, Inside Sales & Support Manager !! He was very helpful, responsive and patient as this drama unfolded. I did find a kinda-sorta Arrowhead replacement stem at ACE hardware that seems to work although not technically the correct part. I intend to modify the PK2008SP stem to fit properly and thus have a spare.
