My Grohe Ladylux Pro 32243 purchased in 2007 had a serious leak, and Andrew, the tech consultant advised me on how to resolve the issue. Following his advice, I decided that the unit needed to be replaced. The problem was that this required a 1 1/4" opening through the countertop, and most of the newer models required 1 5/16th". Andrew recommended removing the leaking faucet to determine the exact opening - which I did, and found that the opening was 1 3/8". This allowed me to order a suitable replacement, and have it properly installed by the plumber. Marie expedited the order with Grohe. Since the factory was unable to ship the next day, they offered a credit (making the shipment cost similar to two-day shipping.
