Hansa 5991.2722 HANSA Pull-out spout

The HANSA faucet is very nice and has worked reliably for more than 10 years without leaks. However, the spout is another matter. Looks just as nice, but this purchase is our second replacement. The first two started leaking badly from spout head after a few years, whether using the spray or not. The leaking water runs down the hose connecting the spout to the faucet, into the faucet base, and then leaks out from the bottom of the faucet, where it connects to the sink top, whenever the sink is in use. The chrome coating on the first spout also disintegrated badly, creating sharp edges that could cut fingers and hands requiring the first replacement; the second spout started to leak badly before the chrome disintegrated to that extent. Too bad, as the faucet itself is great, so we are consigned to replacing the spout every several years until the faucet itself fails.

Angelina was so polite and helpful! Hansa pulled out of US in 2013 and we thought we would never fined a replacement part. Headquarters in Germany and another dealer suggested Chicago Faucets and she found it right away.
