Despite some initial trepidation, this was a super easy repair. The old element came out easy and the new one slips in. The only issue was that I had to slightly tilt the towel warmer to avoid air getting trapped when inserting the replacement element. If this happens the new element will displace fluid. The instructions say nothing about this, so go slow and tilt as needed.
